1. What is Vibrator/Adult Toy?
A vibrator a.k.a massager is a kind of sex toy that uses vibrations to create sexual stimulation. There are a lot of kinds of vibrators, each has a unique characteristic that specializes in meeting every sexual need! We have g spot vibrators, tongue vibrators, clitoral suctions, rose vibrators, clitoral vibrators, bullet vibrators, and anal vibrators.
Each vibrator comes in different shapes and sizes. Some even come as battery-operated, while some are USB chargeable. Most vibrators also have different vibrating modes; you can choose which of them pleases you the most!
There are almost no rules in using a vibrator. While a lot of them are specifically designed for a certain body part, you can still use them on other parts of your body like your nipples or neck, or thighs! It can even double as a massager for your sore muscles, just make sure not to leave it unattended and let other people see how kinky you are!
2. Materials of Vibrators
Most vibrators are made of medical-grade silicone, which makes them soft to the touch and body-safe especially when a vibrator is designed to be inserted into the vagina or rectum. Aside from silicone, there are also vibrators that have hard plastics (ABS) in them, which makes them smooth in feel and allows vibrations to be transmitted intensely. There are also certain vibrators, such as some of the bullet vibrators and anal plugs, that are made of metal.
3. How to Use a Vibrator?
There are 2 ways to use a vibrator: internally and externally.
If you are using it internally, it means you will be inserting the vibrator inside the vagina or anus. Externally, on the other hand, means you are placing it on the penis, vulva, clitoris, anus, or even the nipples. Continued stimulation of these body parts with the use of vibrators can give sexual pleasure, and may eventually lead to orgasm.
You can use a vibrator either alone or with a partner.
4. How to clean sex toys?
Cleaning the sex toys may depend on the material of the vibrator. For starters, silicone toys should be kept in a box because they easily catch dust, hair, and fuzz. Water-based (not oil-based) should only be used for silicone vibrators. On the other hand, vibrators with ABS are compatible with any lubes.
Most vibrators can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and cool or warm water, but it is not advised to submerge them fully into the water, boil them, or wash them in a dishwasher because they have an electrical current. However, some waterproof vibrators are an exception.
So as a general rule, check the user manual to see if your toys can be submerged in water, or just need a damp cloth and a pea-sized gentle soap.
